Predators - Royce

Have you seen it? I just (just) did and I liked it, liked it like the 1st one actualy but enough movie critique for this thread...

I'm not much of a gear nut, I could name every gun in the movie, or at least have some starting points to research more. With gear I'm totaly lost would anyone help me figure out what kind of gear Royce (Adrien Brody) sports in the movie?

A few pics :

Definitely a tan Blackhawk molle vest, or replica thereof. You can tell by the grippy rubber coating on the shoulders.

Not sure about the pouches, knife or anything else right now except for that vest and the tan/black shemagh around his neck. Hope that helps!

that's really nice!

for the knife, to tell you the truth' you see it ONCE in the movie (he stabs a small bug on the ground) and re-sheaths it. You just don't see it and going just by the handle isn't all that evident. At first I thought it was a Nimravus by Benchmade but the handle is ribbed so it's out of the list and Benchmade doesn't really use that type of Micarta in their handles. It's definitly not a Strider, the large finger groove and the shape just isn't the Strider signature. I also thought of the RAT/Ontario RAT series but none seems to have that damn finger groove although they do use that type of micarta. My guess at the moment is that it's a custom.

Being one of the biggest Predator 1 fans on the boards, as you can tell from my sig pic, this movie was right up there with the first one.

Adrien Brody was a pure bad ass.

thats also Oleg Taktarov next to him who plays Nikolai, a UFC vet in MMA.

Knives are TOPS Steel Eagles. One is the 6", and the other is the 11" I believe.

Oddly enough, the shamagh looks exactly like one I picked up in Barrie, and one most of the Barrie guys use. The vest looks like a very generic molle vest, also extremely similar, if not identical, to my Voodoo tan vest. Just some ideas for you there.
