KJW Glock 23 Question

I am in the process of fixing up some KJW glocks. My question is what is part 53A in this diagram?

http://tech.airsoftcanada.com/KJ/kj-g23s.jpg

What is this spring for and where does it fit in? I dont have it in either of my guns (23 & 32c). Can anyone explain/post pics?

Thanks.

that springpulls the valve knocker back when the disconnector is tripped thereby readying the valve knocker for a strike on the magazine valve.

The closed loop attaches to a pin(part 46) that hold sear in place and the open looped end should attach somewhere on your valve knocker.

Isn't that what 53b is for though?

53b is the sear spring not the knocker spring.
53b is the spring the locks the sear to the hammer.

Yeah both these glocks I have are missing that spring then and I cant figure out where one would even go. Can any G23 or 32c owners hook me up with a pic?

G27 parts diagram on left, G23 on the right.
Notice that the valve knocker(part 48) is a different shape. Diagram on right requires part 53A & 53B, where in the left diagram, part 53 is a different shape
On my G32C the parts look like the diagram on the left.
Look at the shape of your valve knocker, hope that helps .
