Outfitting a KWA M9 PTP with a silencer

Just wanna show you guys my KWA M9 PTP which i outfitted with a KJW silencer. It looks very nice except that the barrel is ruined. I have 2 more barrels ordered which im gonna use a different process for.

Anyway hers pics to show that fiiting a M9 PTP with a silencer can be done, considering there are no threaded barrels available for it.

I have figured out a new and better way to fit the silencer so stay tuned. Anyway heres the damage on the barrel:

i am very interesting in knowing wich outer barrel you used?

I was thinking about getting a WE M9, since they are the only hard shooting M9 out there that come in silver (unfortunatelly the KSC/KWA ones dont come in silver)

so when I know wich manufacturer of the outer barrel you got, I can inform if it would fit a WE series M9.....

The outer barrel is stock KWA. The threads were literally sculpted on the barrel. For a WE M9, i think a socom gear outer barrel might be compatible. Although it will not come in silver.

TM, KJW and SOCOM GEAR all have compatible outer barrels that will fit a WE M9! You can get a steel threaded outer barrel for all of the above at Evike for $20 US (if you want to try ordering from them, apparently people have had problems getting stuff from them but I don't know from personal experience) and just remove the paint and chrome it yourself! I don't know if they work for KWA/KSC though!

I totally forgot about that one! They also sell it for $50 here in Canada at airsoftparts.ca, I was going to get it for a replacement for my SOCOM S.O.F. M9 because the barrel cracked!
