Yes, Greengas/duster powered pistols will be useless in the cold. Some won't even operate at +5.

Key points have already been metioned in terms of base layers. Sweat wicking shirts will help you big time. Layers but nothing that will make you overheat.

I find that a lower FPS will also help playing in the cold outdoors. I say anything between 340-370. Helps save your gearbox, easier for your motor to crank it, saves your battery. Spare batteries should be kept inside your pockets, will help keep it warm.

but while Co2 works at cooler temps ...
cold plastic parts + Co2 = broken parts

As big a lipo as you can fit in an externally mounted insulated bag.

I made it half a day on something like this:


I always use W-Hold, never any problems in the cold.

+ good solid internals including a sorbo pad go a long way towards reliability.
