Age Verification process ??

Ok, before everyone does it, DON'T FLAME MEH !

Secondly :smack: ... I just got age checked.... and I just wanted to know who is accepting the age verified people and how long can it take to get the age verified status ?

well, this is the newbie tank, so... no flaming will occur.

however, this IS a common question, please search next time.

This process can take anywhere from today to next month. The people who take care of it have lives off of ASC. It will also depend on when whoever verified you updates the thread to notify the mods of your verification.

Please be patient, your access to Canadian airsoft heaven will come soon, waiting will be rewarding

It took me about a week and a half, perhaps less when I first got verified. A month is not very common but it has happened to some users. Either way, its very worth the wait. The selection of stuff in the private retailers here is amazing.

Just be forewarned though, it'll be hard not to buy everything you see if you're an impulse buyer like me!

It can take upto a week or even a month sometimes.

im curious, i've gone in to see jeff and get age verified, now... will i recieve some sort of message?? i couldnt find an answer in the FAQ's, i've been checking to see if the classifieds still say private or if they'll let me in at least once or twice a day lol.

no you will not get any notice, just keep checking the AV'd badge will also show up under your user name too.

Nope, no message.
It'll just happen, I didn't have to wait too long.
I signed in one day and the status was updated.

The AV happens in a batch process, AV'ing every single person individually is not practical.
The info you supplied has to be entered into their system.
Verifiers do their part, update your information (and anyone else on the to AV list) Miracles occur, everyone gets updated.

Keep in mind, these are volunteers AND it's the holiday season.
You've met someone, it won't be long.

Took three months for my status to be updated... It can happen sometimes, just be patient, dont get cranky about it :P

I would say - find retailer, and he probably can do AV. I went to ArmyIssue, and everything was done in just a few days. One more time - THANKS, ARMYISSUE!!!!

Going to another verifier will not speed up the precess any. They are processed when they are processed. Verifiers cannot change that.

You just happened to get verified right before a batch was taken care of.

True. But it will take longer to wait till regular Age Verifier finds time to see you. And then you can't go e.t.c.. At least that was the case for me.
