CB - Light rig

So I know my way around an AEG...but I'm clueless about gear.

I'm looking for suggestions on a Coyote Brown rig.

I have a CB Pantac CIRAS, with a full loadout of pouches...but it's ridiculously huge and cumbersome. Rigged with a hydration/molle knapsack.

I'd like a lightweight run&gun type rig (I suppose it's not really a vest or a plate carrier?) that can hold a min of 8 M4 mags and other essentials.

I also run a FAL...and the mags are M4 size. Pretty tight to get on mag into a double M4 pouch...so MOLLE type webbing might be a good option.

Suggestions are much appreciated.

8 mags is quite a lot for a "light" rig... What do you mean by essentials, because different people have different idea's of what essentials are.

I would recommend something like the Eagle Universal Chest rig or the ATS M4 chest rig. Both come in CB and if you want modularity, you can get the SKDTac version of the Eagle UCR which comes with MOLLE. The ATS one already has this and you can build on it.

Tyson as we discussed a while back there are alot of light rigs that can perform your loadout needs,

Pantac RRV-Modular with option back panel for when you need a bit more or for mounting hydration packs is a great rig, map holder and folddown bib. Mike and I ran this at BW's
http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwol...l?prodID=24420

Heres the backpanel
http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwol...l?prodID=24455

Also an awesome rig but non modular is the Pantac copy of the LBT 1961a(very popular with NSW)
http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwol...l?prodID=24615

And lastly is the ultimate in modular and uber light weight. Pantac again makes a copy of the Eagle H-harness. Prefered by M60 and Saw gunners it can also be used for AR/FAL platforms. Keeps the front and back clear for easy crawling and air moving but can carry quite a bit

Maybe light rig for a lot of shooting is a better description? LOL

Essentials like a couple of granola bars, compass, first aid kit, pistol mags, etc...not the "everything and the kitchen sink" but just the immediate essentials for an all day game.

I looked at the old XX (can't remember) CF webbing...but maybe not that light.

Here are some ideas from a Canadian Store i order from:

https://www.sealsactiongear.com/cata...?idProduct=904

https://www.sealsactiongear.com/cata...?idProduct=427

American Site that i use a lot:

http://www.OPSGEAR.COM/MOLLE-Ranger-...anger-rack.htm
(this will probably be your best bet in terms of speed. it comes in the color you want, just check the list of available colors )

http://www.OPSGEAR.COM/5-11-MOLLE-VT.../511-58631.htm

http://www.OPSGEAR.COM/5-11-Plate-Ca.../511-58637.htm

hope that helps

Like I said, I would personally go with something like the ATS M4 chest rig. H-Harness' are quite big and for what you described as equipment to carry, a chest rig would be your best bet (to me)

84 pat CF webbing probably...

The P82 webbing? You can bulk that stuff up. There's also the P58 webbing from the UK that was designed for the L1 FAL.

F*ck Dave...I'm going to have to google everything you said but AR and FAL...HAHAHAHA.

Viking helped me out, I'm just going to buy his old rig. LOL

If I don't screw up the naming...it's a BHI Recon Commando Harness.

(I figured out the Enhanced one has internal pockets all by myself though...so there's hope yet...)

The first one is like a Eagle/SDK universal chest rig...right? Man there are so many types of gear...

I checked ASC Mart, but there's nothing in stock and I like to fondle stuff before I buy it.

Cool...more gear.

I think I've met Harley...not sure about the fondling part with him...but I'll try anything once to figure out the difference between Coyote Brown vs. Coyote Tan vs. MJK...
