Multicam is the best. If you want cheaper vests and pouches, then go with OD or TAN. But multicam always blend better with multicam lol. I actually have some tan and od stuff like shemaghs, TAN boots, TAN gloves, OD goggles, TAN IBH, and ton of stuff, but my 2 vests are multicam and with multicam pouches. Blend in better.

If you're only ever going to wear multicam clothing, then by all means get multicam gear. But... If you want, in the future, to wear other camo patterns, then your best bet is to get Coyote Brown/Tan gear, as it goes with almost every pattern out there, aside from black/grey based urban stuff.

I run two seperate uniforms, but for my multicam, I have gone with multicam everything. Now mind you I have the odd peice of kit that is a CB or a solid colour, just havent had time/oppourunity to replace or get them coated yet

in the image, you cant see, but I am also sporting the Belleville TR-1 Kiowa boots in Multicam.

Agree with Tex, Coyote Brown goes with just about anything.

I'm going to be getting a Coyote Brown vest. Thought it would the best for any kits I may wear. I'll be wearing mostly MARPAT so it goes well.

Going with khaki is always the best for any BDU pattern. CB looks too dark for my liking, OD is ok, but for general usefulness get a solid cololur as opposed to a pattern. If you spent a pile of cash on an MC rig, and decide to use US woodland or cadpat for a day, you'd look like a douchenoob. But if you had all khaki gear, you'd look like a star no matter your BDU type, even jeans and a T-shirt. Playing like a star is up to you though.

On a more serious note though, Coyote Brown and MJK work best, with more patterns. I'm personally building an EI harness in MJK and it's gonna work both here and in sandy places.

If you have the choice, then go with MultiCAM. It may cost a bit more, but it is well worth it for matching sake.
