G&G combat machine , compatable magazines?

Ok for years I have only had Ak variants with different types of magazines , no issues ,..but I have now stepped into the m4 world with a combat machine I picked up ,..I have been trying to look up magazine reviews , but I am getting really mixed results . I was looking at the Elite Force 10 pack plastic ones & have read everything from they dont fit a combat machine or wont feed ,..or need to be lubed & broken in ,..to they work fine ? So if anyone can help clear it up ,. Will the elite force 10 pack , just be trouble with my G&G ? if so what else should I be looking at ?

Not sure if these will fit into your specific gun, but the Ares magazines are really nice. Built in flip up magpuls, feed wonderfully, 140 round midcaps / 300 round hicaps.

You can always shim the hopup unit where the feeding tube is to line up the magazine. You have a couple cm's too work with.

Honestly. I've only ever seen issues with G&G mags with any combat machine. Which is super strange but it's a thing. I use random hi-caps and cyma cheap metal mid caps with my Scar-L and CM16 SRL, no issues. And no issues with them using my buddy's CM16 Raider either. Just G&G mags.

Typically any smooth mag, whether plastic or metal, will work. The ones that provide the most problem are the molded plastic mags with a lip about half way down that's supposed to mate up with the bottom of the magwell. I hate those as they are very gun specific.

I just got some Velcro stripes and put it on the back of the mag well near the trigger guard. It pushes the magazine forward enough to make pretty much any mag work. Works well to and the magazine is still very easy to use.

Sorry I meant the mag is still very easy to remove Tapatalk won't let me edit my post for some reason.
