What is your play style, are you the type who is high speed low drag? Or more like a supporter?
No the Sr25 will not fit in an m4 pouch due to dimension,

do you like a boat anchor with proprietary parts

or

do you like a light weight plastic gun with proprietary parts?

that's basically what your question boils down to on a usage standpoint.

they run with similar enough mechanics and are both upgradeable to do whatever you want, provided you can work around their unique proprietary parts. Since all AEGs operate on roughly the same mechanics give or take some hard to find proprietary replacement or upgrade parts, the question becomes are you willing to deal with your chosen gun's bullshit to look good in your game photos?

Yeah I think the question should he posed (as it has) what's yer play style and what's the end goal. Personally I'd go SR25 but only because it's one of my favorite rifles and I tend to primarily run long (really effing long for a 5ft7dude) guns and like to work at range like a dmr or sniper/counter sniper. Short guns are for secondaries IMO so maybe both, check yer local field and if possible run a 450fps dmr and a 300-400 fps honey badger at 35bbps for up close

I'm good with both rolls and I already have a rifle that's bolt action I just don't know which gun to buy. And I want someone with a sr25 to answer my question about the mag and m4 pouches Because they might know.

Depends on the pouches.

SR-25 mags will fit in some M4 double pouches; but not all.

As much as I love the SR25, you'll get the same range and accuracy out of a honey badger.

Unless we're talking about Taco type pouches, or something similar, no 7.62 mags will not fit in 5.56mm pouches

image.jpg I've seen pics like these in other forums but one looks like a m14 mag so how much bigger is the sr25's?

There's maybe a millimetre difference between the two. A pouch capable of holding an M14 magazine will hold an SR25 magazine.

Do you guys think that a CA-305 plate carrier will hold the mags of a sr24?

No, those mag pouches are meant for a 5.56mm STANAG type magazine. Like I said 7.62 will not fit in 5.56
