PMAG compatibility issue Umarex/VFC HK416

I have a stock UMAREX/VFC HK416 and cannot fit Magpul PTS PMAG green label 75 rounds and Genuine PMAG PTS 120 rounds.

Doesn't lock on the mag catch and doesn't feed. Magwell fitment seems ok but the mag doesn't go deep enough to make the catch lock on the mag.

Magpul are stating that their PTS PMAG should work in VFC HK416.

I was thinking of replacing the lower receiver by a standard VFC M4.

My buddy uses PTS EMAG and he has had no problems with fitting and feeding issues in his UMAREX/VFC HK416

Because of the shape of the lower receiver on the HK 416, the magwells angle is different than the M4 which would restrict pmags from fitting in. Might need to modify the mags or get a new lower

Use the original version PMAG without the bump out on the front. I have the same issue with my Hurricane bodied 416. Original pmags are the only mags that work at all in the gun. The newer "M Series" don't fit at all.

they fit mine just fine, just have to remove some material from the inside front edge of the mag well.. this is why im looking for a VFC M4 lower to replace this silly 416 lower.. love the upper tho.
