KJW, or KSC ? (Beretta M9 Elite)

Sorry if this question has come up before (Google + ASC search didn't yield anything much), but I'm curious as to which is the better preformer. I've read reviews on both, but they don't seem to allude to the other model, and whether it's inferior or superior. I'm kind of nodding towards the KJW M9 Elite FMJ, but mainly for aesthetics. Would the KSC make a better skirmisher ?

Thanks for any help.

The KJW's a workhorse, but the metal's extremely poor quality. Even though it isn't on your list, I'd go with the HFC counterpart.
However, from the two you chose, I'd go KJW (Primarily because of the fact I've never tried the KSC).

HFC you say? I'd never known them to be any good (Granted, I've got basically no experience with any airsoft guns).

This one? http://www.specarms.com/products/displayItem.php?id=252

It actually doesn't look that bad at all. I'll google for a while and see what I come up with, thanks for the tip .

Yes, that one. HFC, as of late, started shamelessly ripping off other company’s designs, and doing a damn good job of it.
For example, that ‘HFC M190’ (Mine’s on the way) is a perfect clone of a Marui M9, except it’s completely steel (Apart from rubber grips and a solid aluminium slide, being modified for propane-friendliness). I’ve searched on this gun for a LONG time, and (after clearing out every available resource and review) I never heard a SINGLE bad comment, apart from ‘bad trademarks’ (Not a bad thing, right? Well, we all know that good trademarks make the gun shoot harder and all, but you know…)
Also, unlike the KJW’s pot metal, it’s actual steel.
Search up on reviews, even the most stringent reviewers (Such as Arnie’s R22, and Snowman, who’s handled about every pistol there is) love it, and RedWolf rated it as “Highly recommended” and better then the KJW counterpart.
Latest HFC perfect rip-offs include the VSR-11, the Mauser, Mac 11, and the Dark Hawk (While not stealing anything’s design, as far as I know) isn’t bad either.

I may as well ask this then; how practical / worthwhile are TM AUG's ? I'm having a very hard time deciding on a first AEG; the MP5 and Armalites all seem good, but far too common. The CA33E looks pretty good, but might just be a bit too big (size-wise) for me (I'm 16, after all; don't want to have a gun thats as tall as me :P). So far I've kind of been looking at:

TM P90 TR
TM Steyr AUG
TM Famas SV

basically, the bullpups. CA seems to be set to release a Steyr, so I'll probably wait and see how that one is (Need to get money first, anyways).

And before anyone asks; I'm well aware of my age and the need for parental consent. My dad actually checks these forums occasionally just to make sure I'm not doing somethign I'm not supposed to (So he says; it's obvious he's interested in Airsoft 8) ).

Well, the STEYR-AUG is great. Ever since I landed a deal with Made Man, I started researching it. It’s an all-round great gun, and has a barrel length comparable to the massive PSG1.
The rest of the guns are good too (I’ll personally recommend the FAMAS F1), and I can’t choose the best, having never fired a P90. Yet, it depends on this: You want to heavy machine-gun on a budget, yet still pull accurate shots (FAMAS), or do you want extreme upgradeability, a LONG barrel with amazing accuracy, and a top-rail (STEYR-AUG Civilian)? It all boils down to personal preference, and like for looks.
Being a bullpup enthusiast, I'd say "Go for 'em".

EDIT: Contradictory to what you said in your other thread, full metal AUG's don't exist. The real-steel bodies are polymer.
Besides, I'd trust Marui's internals over their Classic Army counterparts, any day.

What I meant was, CA's would probably offer better build quality (Polymer or not); TM's are legendary for their squeaking. Granted, that has nothing to do with actual preformance, and I've heard the many tales of the squeaky as all hell FAMAS' that just don't seem to break.

I've narrowed my interest down to the Steyr AUG and FAMAS, mainly because as versatile as the P90 may be, the magazines are ungainly, where as the FAMAS and AUG seem to have reasonably sized mags.

Thanks again for the help.

Welcome, that's what I'm here for.
As for my experience, "Stay the hell away from CA!", but their next guns are supposed to be better.

I've used both the FA-MAS and The AUG off and on, and goddamn thats a hard descision, But, the AUG has a few more pros than the FA-MAS, in my opinion.

FA-MAS
Pros
-Compact design
-Can be converted to be compatible with M16 mags
-Insane ROF
-Large battery
-Bipod included (F1)

Cons
-Squeaky as hell
-Version one gearbox cant really handle a majority of upgrades
-Doesent come with a stock optics rail

AUG
Pros
-Compact design
-Massive barrel length
-Solid gun (both internally and externally{meaning it can handle upgrades})
-Has an incorporated vertical grip included
-Comes stock with a optics rail (civi) or Scope a decent scope (mil)
-Cool select fire trigger mechanism
-Quite a few cosmetic kits/upgrades available

Cons
-Small battery
-Majority of the gun is plastic (not really a con, but meh)

If anyone has any more to add, please do, I just popped this off the top of my head.

Thanks for the summary, that's basically the direction I was leaning :P.

Have you or anyone else found small batteries to be a nuisance? or is it just something you deal with ? I'm kind of digging the external battery packs that are designed to look like laser sights.

The AUG can also be taken into 3 pieces for easy transport (Stock, body and barrel), but (as Made Man pointed out to me), it causes you to fire a ‘blank’ every once in a while.
The FA-MAS is simply a plastic body, and cannot be taken into pieces. Besides that, it’s one of the cheapest AEGs, and if you send it to someone who has V2 mechbox parts, it can be upgraded (Not as readily as the others, it has to undergo an almost total conversion).

Yea; I'm not really looking forward to upgrading my AEG. Went through that nightmare with my Automag (Paintball); wasn't very fun.

Yeah, one of the best decisions is to keep them stock. Upgrading has all sorts of liabilities, costs a lot, and is (in a lot of cases), fairly risky.
