Unfortunately, as pusangani's image shows, that might be the only economical option.

It might be repairable, depending on what jammed, and what broke and where.

There is no telling the presence or absence of mechanical mayhem awaiting, within and without of the gear box shell, without making it go explody in a controlled fashion with screw-driver in hand. Similarly so, just in disassembling the gun to get to the gearbox itself, without breaking something else along the way...

It's a five minute diagnosis sitting on the desk in front of me. It's only infinite variables of random grief with a cheap throw-away gun, from any further away than that.. sorry.

Haha, turns out the fix was very, very simple. I just took the motor out and shined a flashlight in the gearbox and noticed a gear was misaligned so I got a fork and pried back in it and it works perfectly now real good thing I didn't listen to those people telling me to throw it in the trash..

I'd still take their advice and throw it in the garbage.

The fix makes no sense though.
How badly would something have to be assembled such that it can become mis-aligned and then able to be "pried back in it" with a fork?

What's preventing the issue from re-occurring?

endability's mother: [endability's mom walks in on him, in full costume, rummaging through her silverware drawer] Jeffrey, what are you doing?
endability: Um, I was just, um, uh, um, I'm, uh...
[shifts to British accent]
endability: I'm a gun doctor, mother.
endability's mother: A gun doctor?
endability: An effete British gun doctor, to be precise. I am pilfering your tableware because I fix guns with i it. I fix them so they can hurl BBs with a deadly accuracy at targets up to ten feet away. Endability is my name. And yes, I know I don't wear much blue and I speak in a British accent, but if you know your history it really does make perfect sense.
