It's still in discussion. We need to organize something that would allow us to train a group of range officers so that they are willing to operate unsupervised under the initial guide lines the Canadian Airsoft Practical Shooting regulations currently follow, which are closely related to the current IPSC Action Air guidelines.

We're not trying to "control" groups. We simply want to make sure we are all on a level playing field, and that all clubs that shoot with us run at LEAST as safely as we do on all levels.

Hahaha!

No one got my sarcasm.

Mr. Hitman, it looks like you've improved a bit from your first videos.
Making vids of yourself can be an excellent training tool. If you watch pros and compare what you are doing, you can find ways to make yourself better and faster.
BTW. Why don't you short stroke that race gun of yours?

Anyhow, here's some pics of my newest custom project.
I only have a few more plans for it. I need some steel ambi-safeties. I bought a set of NOVA Kings MEU 1911 hoping that the pin would fit the ProG4 frame...but it didn't. So now I have a brand new, useless ambi-safety set.

I'm going to polish the frame, only because it put a very light scratch in it and tried to polish it out, and wound up shining up the frame (from it's original bead blasted finish)..so now I kinda have to finish polishing it.

I may change the magwell to a steel unit to add some backend weight.
I forgot to get an extended mag release button, which is why you see my drilled and tapped mag release looking so lonely.

I'll shut up now. Here's some initial pics.
I'll have to try to take some better pictures later, after I polish the frame.
These will have to suffice for now.

Thanks the4thpower3.
I would short stroke my gun, but I really need to work on counting shots. I never pay attention, and sometimes, I really need the slide locked back to show me I'm running dry. If I put those buffer shock/rings or whatever they're called, I can never tell if I'm hitting those paper targets if they're far..

Nice guns, those slides looks super light, and super fast huh. And sweet converting those TM grips into SV ones.

RM is right. If you look at my parts list you will see I used a steel slide for this build to try to maximize kick/recoil. I'm going to have to swap out the breech in different weights to see what I like best. So far so good with the ProG4 aluminum breech. It kicks hard.

Very nice looking piece.

You don't find the cycling speed to be sluggish with the heavier slide?

That's what I was afraid of...but surprisingly it cycles very nicely with some nice recoil.
I'll try to make some comparison video.

not the same gun obiviously, but the stainless steel guarder slide for the Glock also works a lot better than I thought.....

Here's the video I promised, not that it really does it justice.
Too bad I don't have a highspeed camera.

I worked for a long time on that trigger pull, and it was very much worth the effort.
I learned to tune triggers from Gene Shuey's videos

I've actually sourced/dowloaded all of the AGI Gene Shuey HowTo 1911/2011 Gun Building and Tuning videos.
