Hello everyone,

I was searching the net and such, and for the life of me, i cant seem to find the difference between the CA M15A2 Carbine and the CA M15A4 Carbine. If anyone can tell me, please say so.

Thanks,

Internals are supposed to be better on the A4 as well, as far as I know.

hey sorry, i know this is off topic, but i didn't want to start a new thread. would an inner barrel made for an M4A1 fit in the M15? And, how are the 6.02 tightbore barrels compared to the 6.03? i ask this cause i didn't even no the .02s existed, so i didn't know if they were not that great. here is the link:

I've seen barrels as tight as 6.01 out there, but with them being that tight you'd have to use the highest quality bb's going so as not to risk a jam. I use a 6.03 in my M15A4, you'd want a 363mm, but the 409mm will take it to the end of the flash hider.

ok, so you think i should stick with the 6.03? or go with a 6.02? Which, in your opinion, would provide good results without the fear of it becoming jammed?

stick with the 6.03, this way you won't have to get really exspensive ammo to ensure the quality is there to keep from jamming. Also on that note, I'm running a Madbull 6.03 tightbore, and I can say that I'm not all that happy with it, I'm still getting the same shot spread with it as I was with the stock barrel at the same ranges, no difference, in fact I think the CQB inner that I had in it at one time was doing better.

I'm also looking into the M15a4 but the RIS model.

Can anyone tell me if that "blob" mounted on top of the barrel is necessary for the function of the gun or is it cosmetic? Is the battery countained in there or something?

You mean the PEQ battery/laser box? Its basically an M4 so its wired to the front. With the RIS theres no room in the grip for a battery (correct me if im wrong) so you'll slap a battery in the box and have it there.

So in turn, yea.. you'll need it if you want to power your gun.

I my self own the M15A2 and see no difference between my buddies A4. (except of course the detachable carry handle). All the stock internals are the same. But I recommend that you change the gears, from what I've heard the classic army gears aren't very reliable.
