Nope, I've been considering the same thing. The only problem would be you'd need to keep your pistol empty and remove the mag from the pouch right before you fire, unless you slip a hot pouch over your grip. No real good solutions for winterizing GBBs.

Yeah, you get mucho credibility by declaring that off the bat.

Off the subject a bit but has anyone tried the winter propane with anti-freeze in it?
That won't solve the problem at all; the problem with GBB is that as temperature drops, the gas inside the magazine contracts towards a liquid state, causing the pressure it normally'd exert to drop dramatically.
Ok, well at least it wouldn't freeze solid. Using normal propane in the winter would probably freeze it solid....am I right?

I wasn't looking for mucho credibility, I was just pointing out the side I am on in the great "GBB or AEP" debate. I think it's totally lame to have a sewing machine sounding, plastic, non-blowback pistol. I'd rather just wait for warm weather.

Propane has a freezing point of -187.69C. Godspeed if you plan to play in weather that cold.

Sorry, I meant the seals on the gun and possibly other parts. Not the gas.

We'll need to build a rocket to Pluto or Charon. And lots of snacks. Due to the expense of the trip, only KJW GBBs will be made available. We'll be pawning the WAs to build the rocket.

errr ok. Well I guess now you can find out first hand that gas guns don't work in cold weather. Next time you want to ask a question, just make up your own answer. It'll save us the time of typing anything, and save you the time of ignoring us.

bahh maybe i'm dreaming.

my pistol has some space around the Co2 caplet though and I am tempted to spray some Home Depot foam insulation to fill in the gaps.

Is the Major problem that the gas is condensing in the mag, and minor problem that the gas is condensing too quickly upon exiting the mag? Which is the major/minor problem?
those hand warmers that they sell at sport mart might work if you keep your mag surounded by them till you need it then just pop it in and hope the gas is warm enough to expand properly
