Historically, yes.
But I don't think too many people will point out that your skin tone isn't correct for you load out...

I wouldn't worry about it... I would care more about your kit and historical accuracy of what you are re-enacting.

But seriously as long as you are a upstanding guy and your kit matches up with what your doing, your skin does not matter

that's not 100% true. Near the end of ww2 when hitler was getting desperate the strict requirments for the ss were dropped. Pretty much anyone with two feet and a heart beat were recruited.

now if memory serves correct there was even a palistinian platoon? Batallion? Dunno what size to use. They were recruited and trained to hunt serbs. I also believe there was a black section in africa of ss.

this is 5am recollection of highschool history. I am sure a ww2 buff will correct me.

there we go. Near the end over 60% of ss was none german ethnic soldiers. So if anyone wants to argue with you just tell them your a late war recruit

I remember reading a memoir of a black American serviceman who mentioned something along the lines of having to go to Berlin so he could go to whatever restaurant he wanted to and sit anywhere on the bus...
