Are there going to be comtacs avaliable for this radio in the future?

Is there a deadline for the preorder?

Can we get some more detailed pictures on what the package contains? For example does the antenna come with the package?

I think it's safe to assume that the radio comes with an antenna...

Huang, what I wanted to know is if it´s compatible with real steel PRC-148 conectors. What I wanted to say is, if i bought a RS comtac or sordin or liberator with a PRC-148 PTT, coul I use it without modifications?

Thanks!

Even the adaptor is military look-alike, it is not U-229/U military 5 PIN male connector. you can't use without the headset or the adaptor in DIY package. However if you can provide U-229/U military 5 PIN male connector, I can custom build one for you though

Does this mean an H250 handset will not work with the radio without modification?

Correct. Since the manufacturer can't get the military U-229/U military 5 PIN female connector base, they use a different connector base. the H250 is modified to fit while keeps the orginal looks.

I C..Ok..is this made by Element? The same company that made the Comtac II Replicas? Also what about re-programming the radio's? Is this easily done or do we have to buy software and cable etc?

Not by element. This manufacturer(DH) hates element lol.

That why DH doesn't bother offering a comtac II package. The bowman headset is not from Element either but from DH.
