G&G M1 Garand

Anyone have any leads on Canadian release date ? I know the production model has been released and have seen some UK site with it listed as in stock. Any info would be great... Thanks !

Do you know if it will be better than the ICS M1 Garand? I know the only difference is the mag capacity.

I owned the ics... it is horribly off as far as 1:1 scale. The weapon is twice as fat.. laughable huge sling mounts, huge butt plate that wrapes around, m14 modern trigger guard, huge space between gas tube and barrel and plastic huge mags that don't fit in wwii webbing.. lol the G&G will be 1:1 scale and is correct for that alone as a reenactor its worth the extra money

And forget this ping stuff.. no one will make a skimishable weapon tgat holds more then 8 rounds and i don't wanna be looking for eject clips during a fight... find a murishin as a wall hanger fir a $1000 if that's what u want

you can make it hold more than 8 rounds. Also the marushin doesn't ping either. It makes a poopy noise. Lol

All you need really is an extreme-fire computerized unit and a deal extreme 5$ micro-speaker. It'll ping just right. ;)

Wow that's good to know. I was curious about the ICS one a while ago. I have WWII gear and a Thompson but I always wanted an M1 Garand.

Because of the Walnut stock ?

Anyway, hopefully our Canadian retailers do not do the usual sky high mark up. It makes us look very dump.

Not all manufacturers will produce models specifically for the Canadian market. The US is a much larger market than Canada, so if you're only going to configure your factories to produce barrels and flash hiders one way, you're going to configure them in a way that will allow you to sell to the largest market - especially if it does not prevent you from legally selling to other markets.
