smoke grenades

anybody know a place that sells reusable, enviromentally safe smoke grenades???

i have different type and colors smoke as well whit pull no need to use lighter and they are not reusable.

Or buy one of MadMax's grenades when they come out; fully reuseable. 100% safe. No heat source involved.

Yes, I should have noticed you wanted smoke... tired I guess. Unfortunately most smoke grenades produce heat, and that's a problem.

Is there a way of making grenades that does not involve saltpeter? it's getting hard to find

Most places won't allow you to use homemade smoke. Case in point, one dopey player at Panther lit one a few years back and it caused a fire. The dried leaves, players and staff at the field were rather unhappy.
The best thing out there are the time expired orange marine distress smoke cans. They're a little larger than a tactical smoke grenade, but they burn well, long, and give off a ton of smoke. Best of all they're cheap. You just have to know where to look.

Anything that has a pyrotechnic base is iffy at best. Many places dont allow them, some places outright ban them because of very real fire hazards.

Not sure since I've never looked at the emergency ones Ibby mentions, but they also may be banned in certain areas. Check with your local authorities if you wish to save yourself from a lot of grief.

Making your own is never a smart move either.
