Awesome website, always wanted to get one of those high cuts, and the prices aren't to shabby either.

CTOMS sells helmets. I have seen Crye Airframes there and I bought my Ops-Core helmet from them.

You will pay big bucks for one, and you won't get it within a week. More like 6-8 months.

can you explain?

Why to actually buy a real army helmet? Or I see people wearing emerson helmets. They are nice, but those also a real helmets will protect our head at least from a falling rock. But is it really necessary for airsoft? Airpark has a 20-50$ helmets which look like a real ones, why to do better?
Dont forget, in the end you still have a fake gun in your hands

comfort especially for those who have large melons, knock offs are pretty much only in medium/large, I for one need a large/xl, meaning I need a real one. As well, for those of us using helmet mounted NVGs it makes all the difference in stability on your head.

+ real helmets protect your noggin much more efficiently then fakes. The head is not something you want to be messing around with esp if your playing in a fast paced CQB environment.

Alot of players have very expensive equipment on mounted to their helmet. Would probably want something that wont fail.

A few years back I bought a fake pasgt , I compared it
to my real pasgt. The fit and comfort is better with the
real helmet than the fake one. And the weight is a "little"
heavier than fake.

The others have mentioned better then I the other reasons.
Airsoft gun has nothing to do with it.

I think it is the next version after the pasgt, called I think the wide helmet.
It had a padded system instead of the regular suspension system.
It looked just like the pasgt but wider. I think it is what they are using
in the US right now?

I assume you are thinking of the TC-2000 mich/ach helmet. There is also the 2001 and 2002 versions. Same helmets, different cuts around the ears.

As for the topic about real helmets I personally think a replica is kind of pointless, sure it gives you the look but that is about all. A real helmet obviously offers protection for your noggin and you can hang all of the cool gizmos you want off them without fear that they will fall off. Another thing to consider is comfort and fit, there have been numerous people that have bought Chinese replicas and they have been too small.

If you want a real helmet that will be good quality without breaking the bank, I would suggest a Pro-Tec Bravo. If you don't mind spending a little more coin on something more gucci you can get an Ops-core Fast Base Jump. I personally love mine and I think it was worth every penny.

some of us run NVG.
Helmets that are real better protect your head
My head is a fricken target (seriously I get atleast 10 hits per event)
Chinese replicas fall apart. My Ops Core will last years.
