Thanks guys this is some good discussion on inner barrels.
As I understand it the marui inner diameter is 6.10mm is this true? Thats a crazy clearance.

I bought a WGC XM-177E1 and it kicks ass, couldnt be happier with the gun (other then the price but welcome to Canada) except for it's accuracy, but thats to be expected with a 300mm barrel. Its not horrible but everyone recommends a tightbore for it.

honestly from what i have heard b4, a 6.03 and a 6.01 wont give you THAT much a difference, but after what stalker posted about the .5-1" grouping difference, i think i would go for it. that being said, make sure to only use BB bastards, and if i were you, i would get a 6.03 prometheus for the AEG, since you will be full auto firing, but only get the 6.02-6,01 for a sniper system.
those are my thoughts anyway.

They generally cost as much as a Prometheus and I have not had any issues with jams. I have had at least 30,000 BBs through mine. I'm sure you could import it as a brass tube. If you call them they will anything they can to help, real friendly guys.

Ya its hooking at about 80ft. So i was just thinking it was the barrel becuase i replaced the hop up rubber with a promotheus one. But i am pretty much just assuming its that barrel. Could be wrong

Stock TM is 6.08mm. Want crazy clearance? KSC GBBs typically have a 6.14mm tube!

While my MP5 did make holes on target the size of a loonie, those were the holes from numerous shots. Because of my RDS and my not great eyesight at distances, I had some flyers scattered around the holes. Also didn't help that Dot on the RDS was bigger than the 1" bull targets I shot at. Lol

Regarding BBs hooking, did yo uput oil on your rubber before sliding into the hop up unit, twist it in, pull it a bit then check the hop up inside the barrel? If so, once the gun was reassembled, did yo uput a couple drops of oil into the loading nozzle and dry fire it to distribute the oil on the rubber inside? And does it still hook with hop up full off?
