Ontario Airsoft WWII Reenactors

I would be interested in starting an Ontario Airsoft WWII Reenactors club/organizatio. This would be for both Axis and Allies. And before everyone goes nuts... yes I know that there are not a lot of us out there, and the kits are costly, and that others have tried, etc. etc.

But if we start slowly then the others will come. If we don't even start then there is no where for them to go.

This would be a club for re-enactors and airsofters. The more detail that you put into your kit the better but we will try and keep it light. In other words, if it's an East German uniform and you have done everything that you can to make it look WWII then that's fine too.

I have two kits - a 2nd Rangers and 101st Easy Co.

Just putting it out there to see if anyone else would be interested.

Hi!

I liven in TO and I have an SS Impression.
I always hoped that more people will get into WW2 airsoft in Canada.

I have a complete uniform, except the E-tool, bayonet, Canteen and Gas Mask Canister-(not too necessary i think)
and I Marushin KAR98k

I have little time, tough thats my problem. i work weekdays and sometimes the weekends.

Hi Ptrap. I have most of my gear, missing things like my mess kit but I'm always looking and adding. Weapons of choice are the Thompson and a 1911 sidearm. If you're interested in something you will always find the time. Glad to see your interest. Let's see who else responds and we will go from there.

Hey Yeoman, I read that in some of the other threads but that was a couple of years ago, right? WE can only hope that there are more closet WWII'ers out there and we can bring them together.

Do you wear your impression on the field?

There has to be more guys in the SWO area that are interested in WWII airsofting?! I can't believe that the majority are out west.

I'm interested, but I even seem to be on the outskirts of modern combat airsoft, let alone any WWII players. I think all WWII airsofters should move here.

Konig, glad to see the interest. I take it that you're on the Axis side. Do you have a kit or have you started one?

No, I haven't started a kit yet, still a little undecided. I have a M1A1 and a Tanaka Luger :-? Think I would go axis though, I just wish TM made an MP40 :-D

Axis is good but just be ready to spend 3 times what an Allies kit would cost. :smack:

not unless you know what you are doing.
I was able to allocate a full fallschrimjager kit (though the deal never went through) for under $400 US, which is about the same I spent on my 1st can para kit.

I agree, if you take your time and look for the deals you can put together a decent kit and not spend an arm and a leg. It's the waiting for the good deals that is hard! :smack:

It looks like we have a convert... Quikstrike is going to put a 101st kit together. That will make two of us with a 101st kit. Welcome to the cool war (if there is such a thing) Quik!

I'm going to miss shooting at you... :-D
