Some things to consider. Remove the tape, it looks very tacky. You'll want to make some changes on how your gear is positioned. On example, it's bad position of your bayonet, you won't last long on the run. I reccomend you to add collar liner to the form, it's an important feauture of the uniform and good for your hygeine when you're not cleaning uniform. What undershirt are you wearing? It looks like a green camouflage. You'll want some kind of solid colour like light blue, dark green, or grey. Nothing is very strict here. You need the jackboots? I can sell to you for $50 if my memory is good. Maybe you need some special things for reconstruction? If interested you can write on the PM.

Anyone interested in journals, texts, or newspaper? I've small collection building up here

Good stuff Cooney!

Demichev is right though, get collar liners on your stuff! If you don't know how, talk to me on teamspeak, I'll get you a link to instructions or something, or, I could teach you next time we're at a game. I don't know about these days, but a general rule I know from a friends family member who was in during the 70's and 80's is, "If it has a collar, it has a liner" :P

Can't wait to join you and Kingsix!

Crack in stock. So I used blue tape to help maybe. I use blue tapes on mags so I know they are mine. Ya I better move my bayonet. collar liner yes I will.

I was hoping no one notice my undershirt :P.

Not Afghanistan, but the same time period:

Soviet Motorised Rifleman, circa mid 1980's, part of the division in Eastern Europe facing NATO.

kit list:
VFC AK74S and Cyma AK74
Standard Soviet webbing set including bayonet
M69 uniform (collar lining, Red Army collar and shoulder tabs and shoulder patch showing branch, probably would be removed during wartime)
The venerable SSh-40 helmet
standard issue gas mask satchel (very handy for extra ammo and in a dump pouch role!)
Infantry tall boots

Talking

So.... my friends are fucking awesome. They pitched together to get me a set of legit ANA Noch-91m Kamysh for my birthday four days ago!

This is some comfy shit guys... the knee area even has foam inserts to cushion the impact from those uber-l33t Spetsnaz axe-throw flips!

The Kamysh was obtained from Soviet-Propaganda. Alternatively Frontowiec has some in-stock:
