From what I read on different post, since aep are under 366fps (most are around 200/250 fps) you are not suppose to have one (I guess) and you can't import them.
But, is it legal to import parts for them? (legale systeme is not my strong point...)

Since this is the Newb tank, I'll try and be a gentle as possible without spoon feeding you the answer.

Same rules of importation as any airsoft gun. You are AVed, so research the AV section of the forum for the laws on importation and you'll find what parts are restricted and which are ok to import.

And research doesn't mean ask there.

I haven't seen much AEP parts hahaha. I think nine ball had a few random parts to bring the velocity up to 300fps... Other than that ditto.

according to this, realistics aep are prohibited firearm (correct dimension and finish)
http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cfp-pcaf/f...me_air-eng.htm

but one that would not look like realistic would not be consider a firearm
(so if you paint the airsoft pink it may or may not be consider a prohibited firearm at the discretion of the agent of the afsc who end up with it?)

and according to this
http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cfp-pcaf/f...porter-eng.htm
importing parts of prohibited firearm is prohibited.

so my guess was :
ok for battery and charger,
no for magazine (since they look like the real deal)
and a gearbox would be ''assessed on a case-by case basis''

I'd suggest moving this disscussion in the AV part of the forum.

Fairly wrong. Any parts for them would be fine except the lower receiver (in most cases, a pistol lower receiver is the restricted part)

Mags are fine slides too just the lowwer as styrak said
Even tho it will clearly have the "gearbox" in it itbis still simaler material to a regular glock so itll be considered restricted

The reality is this belongs in a different area. Lol

OP, just trying to help. msg admin and ask them to move this to an AV'd section. If your question is covered in the billions of other threads on importing then you probably should ask them to move it to the trash bin.
