Kjw on co2 and green gas

Looking at picking up a kjw kp06 pistol as I have seen can buy green gas or co2 mags for them. How do they work on each? Little worried on perfomrance of green gas in the later parts of the season.

AI Adapter ($15)+ Propane (3 for $15) = Cheapest route.

CO2 cartridges in bulk are $0.60-$1.00 in large bulk (100-150 capsules+).

CO2 has more recoil, I would suggest going CO2. You also get better performance in the winter, but GG mags are easier to deal with - being that propane is cheap, and you just inject it, versus screwing a capsule out and putting a new one after 3 mag worths.

You're fine either or indoors, if you do a lot of outdoors, go withi CO2.

C02 at the same temperature as green gas (which is just propane without the odor) will provide a higher velocity. C02 has less cool down than green gas (the time between shots required to produce consistent power) and C02 operates better at lower temperatures.

THAT BEING SAID

A propane tank with an adapter will be significantly cheaper than C02. You are looking a 3-7 dollars to fill dozens of magazines, instead of 1-2 dollars per mag for capsules.

Propane is more CQB safe. Most times pistols are used to clear rooms, up close or as a "last stand" type weapon. Having a 400fps rifle and a 400fps pistol doesn't mean the pistol is for up close encounters, something many players tend to forget. Honestly I prefer green gas pistols over C02 pistols, despite some of the advantages of C02 over green gas and vice versa.

Right, forgot the higher FPS, about 5-10 FPS+-. CO2 Pistol's recoil is amazing though. KJW P-09 Duty was my favorite in terms of recoil

That's why I'm looking for pistol for those odd cqb situations as I'm sure my riffle is a bit more than what I'm comfortable getting shot with/ shooting others with up close. So should I go with a gun meant for green gas then?

Depends on your local fields regulations. Most CQB places here are 350 or 380.

CO2 pistols will range between 360+- on my experience with my KJW P-09 Duty.

If you field allows 400FPS+- regardless, then I'd go CO2.

Fields are set at 425 fps limit. So guess I'm good with c02 but might switch to green gas mags in better weather/if ever do indoor games. We have like one real indoor course but insanely hard to get in.
