New grip, magwell, and holster. Just spent another $275 to turn this gun into an STI Executive with a Shooter's Design frame and slide. Hopefully I get them in this weekend.

It is a replica of the CR Speed WSM II IPSC holster. It's used for IPSC speed shooting for quick draw. I got it from Cobraairsoft.com for $40. You could also get the real CR Speed holster from real steel websites for about $150.

Painted my stock grips black. I think it looks good, nice change from my cocobolo double diamond grips that I usually have on it.

Are the grip safety and magwells from your recent IPSC style raceguns from real steel?

Nope. The beavertail is from a WE 4.3 hi-capa and the magwell is made by WE too.

I got the WE beavertail from somebody who was selling it. The only other way to get one is to buy a complete WE 4.3 and take the beavertail. Or you can get a TM Dual stainless which also has a silver beavertail.

You can get the WE magwell from Uncompany, Dentrinity(out of stock right now), Cobra airsoft, and Guns & Guys.

Nice work on these two as usual. Do they still shoot as nicely as the look? I know when I tried to upgrade my 5.1, I lost accuracy. I gave up and put every stock item back and it shot great again.

Thanks. They shoot better than stock. The STI Executive is built for racing purposes, the PDI 6.01 helps accuracy and power. It also has a Proud buffer spring to short stroke the slide movement during recoil(have a 9ball short stoke spring coming). Makes it even quicker than stock, but the slide can't lock back anymore since the slide doesn't move that far back. The sear has been polished and reshaped as well as the disconnecter, so the trigger pull is insanely light and quick now. Perfect for double taps when I compete in airsoft IPSC postal matches. I have an Airsoft Surgeon hammer, sear, hammer strut, and valve knocker coming though, it's supposed to be much better than even a modified stock setup like mine.

The Delta shoots as smooth as it was stock. The PGC kit fits tight with no play in the slide to frame fit but it still moves buttery smooth. Power is up a little with the 9ball tightbore and it has a PDI hammer and stainless sear so the trigger pull on this is very light and short too.
