I have owned a mini ak 47 and used the mini mp5 alot. They are esentially the same gun but with a different outside and some hold more bb's. So in short yes the ct mini mp5 is the same as the other mini's.

I dont own the ct gun my best friend bought a few for screwing around in his basement. He has had them since they were released so however long that is. The only thing that happened so far was a small piece of plastic broke off in one when it fell.
