G&P M4A1 Full-Auto problem - Won't stop firing

The M4 works very well in both Safety and Semi-Auto mode; However, in Full-Auto sometimes the M4 would not stop firing. When this happens, it will either stop when the mag is empty or it will just keep firing until I pull the battery out... Orz

I am using a 9.6V 1100 mah battery with 0.20g KSC BB (0.23g Excel BB causes the mag to jam). I am new to AEG so I have no idea what the problem is and how to fix it T-T/ Please help me out (._.)/ Thanks in advance.

Is your gun stock? Has it ever been disassembled?

G&P M4's are upgraded out of the box, but tend to have some faulty internals, try to get someone to take a look, or take it back to where you bought it

Factory pre-upgraded to shoot 410+ FPS. Tested it with Red Wolf's Poor Man's Chronograph and estimated it to be around 430~450 FPS.

I didn't disassemble it since I don't have the manual nor experience to do it.

thats exactly why i didn't buy one, i did not feel like hurting anyone when playing with a gun that hot, and i did not feel like down grading a brand new gun. iI you are playing to play i suggest downgrading the spring, or a velocity reducer. I was seriously considering on buying one but did not for those reasons

Go to www.op-for.ca/forum or www.bcairsoft.com/forum and go ask for a gun doctor to take a look at your gun. Both of those clubs are local to you. Kamfer is one name that comes to mind that could probably help you out.

why down grade when you can use a velocity reducer?

My G&P M4 was shooting 340 fps when I purchased it. I haven't had a single problem besides semi getting stuck. My half-assed guess is a bad selector switch.

It sounds like your trigger switch inside of the box is sticking and not releasing when the trigger is releasing. It's completeing the circuit, therefore it keeps firing until you disconnect the battery. I would suggest cracking the box open and taking a peek at that. If you're not into mechbox work, have a qualified person look into the problem.

Cheers, Brent
