C9A2 Stock.

While in the process of stripping down my CA M249, I was taking it's Mk2 stock apart as it had split down the center seam. I noticed that the plastic portion of the stock was held on with glue that had dried and cracked along with a bolt through the metal portion. That bolt is the same diameter and thread pitch as the one in my CA Crane stock, so I removed the two square nuts from the stock and bolted the buffer tube to the metal portion of the Mk2 stock. While not 100% visually accurate, it comes rather close imho and I thought I would share this with you guys and gals if it hadn't been disclosed before.

There is a glaring issue that I didn't see earlier as my M249 was in pieces and that is the fact that the rear of the receiver is slanted, causing the stock to angle downwards at approx. 20 degrees. The possible remedy for this would be to cut the rear of the buffer tube at an angle so that the stock would end up straight.
