The tan is an okay match to Magpul FDE... it has a slightly darker hue to it with a tint of green (compared to Magpul PTS FDE).
I believe it screws down over the flashhider? If its rock solid then i'll just click on 'Pay with Paypal'

The colouration of that rail is quite close to the real steel - it's a very dark brown, rather than tan.

I chose this rail for multiple reasons... I think it looks sexy... but besides that, it follows RIS II specifications - one of these requirements is to allow the carbine to mount an M203 while allowing the outer barrel to remain free floating.

How is this done? Through the use of some extra add on parts, the M203 would be mounted directly to the barrel nut (at the rear) and directly to the RAIL (at the front), rather than to the outer barrel as past versions have done. By doing it this way, the outer barrel remains completely free floating inside the handguard.

I have not yet been able to source out the mounting hardware for the M203 mounts, but once I get my hands on it, you can guarantee you'll see some hot as sex pictures on here...

Oh man if only i knew... i had that part and sold it off with my old RIS...

Used it on my PTW but couldn't source out a M203 at a good price and ended up selling everything (actually sold of that rail + mount not 3 weeks ago...).

I believe i got those from wolverine as a special order.
