You know, after looking at this gun some more a nice diagonal stippling job on the grips would look perfect. It would match the serrations in the slide nicely.

I agree wholeheartedly. If this one was a more serious project for me, I'd swap all of the controls to silver, put on a 2-tone compensator (JB Comp) and a mag well.

As much as I would've liked to keep this beautiful piece, I already have too many Hi-Capas and had to let this one go. It'd never get any use amongst all my other pieces, so I've sold it.

Here's some final pictures of it as I say farewell to it in a configuration finally made for the buyer:
