My sentiment exactly Fox.

I have to disagree, although it may be a trade specific thing.

For me, there are many situations when dealing with ordnance, etc. that I require PPE and armour, but the added bulk of Tac/Wpn, etc. gets in the way, so I actually prefer having the webbing and armour seperately.

To Fox's point that I missed in his post, it's not the armour that's the problem, it's the wearer not knowing enough to size it properly in most cases. Couple quick adjustments (and removal of the aforementioned gauntlets) and you can get it to fit like a glove.

Many people (like in artillery units in the US) simply wear chest rigs over their body armor even though PALS is integrated on them, for that very reason.
There's even an issued chest rig that attaches directly to the body armor with 4 fastex.

I think that'd still be better than the current CF issue (just note it's coming from the basement warrior that I am, so give that the value you want).

I could see having PALS on it being useful just to beener things on there, like a GPS or whatever... besides that I agree with the guys that say that the FPV isn't bad as long as the velcro isn't worn out and it's sized properly. On that note I prefer to leave the shoulders done up and lower it over my head and then do it up than the usual swing around the side method. I find it sits straighter and fits better that way.

There's too many situations where you want to wear just your armour to be able to separate the FPV and the LBV

Edit: Notice I didn't say Tac-Vest? That was on purpose. Fuck that thing.

Oh, I don't even want to get started on that POS issued TV.

I can't wait till they pick the new one, 3 models (that I know of) are currently being used in trials. The only one I've actually seen up close though is the TT MAV that's being given to the guys at my unit to go over.

I know a bunch of the Vandoos and the PPCLIs have the new SORD vest. I hear mostly good stuff about it, except for the usual complaints with rigs. (front heavy, hard to go prone, etc)

Dude, it's at Expo 150 at the Pembroke Airport going on this weekend! I would've shot more pictures but I didn't want to look like that guy. Rest assured there is mucho gear and gun pr0n at their booth. Check out their Mk48. The missus and I will be there all weekend. PM me if you want to link up.

3RCR, CER, RCHA, Field Amb, Svc Bn have booths set up but I haven't seen a single Jimmy yet LOL! Sad.

Edit: The helmet is Israeli made.

Definitely not CF.
The barrel and the carry handle look wrong. I think LMT Iron sight/Carry Handle with an M4 profile barrel.

*EDIT post is gone.......akward..

Looks good, but you need a combat shirt over the t-shirt.

What does the person with the C8 have on their right leg?
Also, what is the black bag on the left leg? If it is a dump pouch, I would get rid of it and just go regular dump pouch that can be attached to the Plate carrier or on the belt without straps on the leg.

As for the weapons, I've seen CSOR with EoTech 553/tan and Specter DRs on their weapons as well as the tan PEQ15(which you already have)
*edit didn't even notice the folding front site, but like Conker said, keep the regular front sight.

What he said^^

And that folding front sight/gaz block.... I'd be really, really surprised. I'd keep the standard front sight.

Thanks for notice!

Do you know what correct color for t-shirt? Tan or coyote? Operators use blackhawk products or not? Anyone use fastmags? What correct correct ssniper rifle? Or CSOR doesnt use any?
