Forgive my ignorance but is it common for them to run with a spare receiver?

Overall kit looks pretty sorted. Not too many accessories to weigh you down or make you look like a catalogue. I like the contrast of the tan shirt. Could use abit more dirt.

With the M4a1, everyone is issued a full lenth one, and a CQB-R reciever. I've never seen the same with the 416, but I would believe it if someone said they had access to a second

I know both are issued, but is the second actually carried into the field during missions?

Mini;

It's not very common and I personally do not recall seeing any images of second uppers strapped to packs. However I am certain that second upper receivers are issued as required to specific individuals (Typically the marksmen who double as assaulters). Is it likely that they would run on the field with the second upper? Not very likely. Would they have a second upper on-base? Absolutely.

Dirt is something that will be picked up over time, same with the wear on my weapon. I'll be sure to post more pictures in the next few months when things have had a chance to get really filthy

Reminded me of machine gunners carrying an extra barrel, lol.

This is towards your comment about the pistol mags.
You are doing an impression or a in game picture?
Guys out on a mission never run 1 mag.. What if your team is out of rounds and needs to borrow?
For an impression to work, everything needs to be pin point accurate.
Sorry for being a D, but years ago, this is how impressions and gearwhores work. lol
