Why do I have a feeling this would end up being a Darwin Award contender?

Treat any weapon as if it's real (I mean, unless it's clear or something), your mind can play weird tricks on you. When a gun is pointed at you, don't take chances and act accordingly.

And even if you can clearly identify a pistol as a fake, don't minimize the danger of an airsoft pistol, or worse a pellet pistol. They can cause damage, especially the later.

"G&G" trades, "caliber: 6mm" and red warning stickers are also a giveaway. Too much accessories on it like lights and lasers and optics and grips and your mom altgether will sound like Double Eagle LPEG packages, lol. Too exotic guns (like a SCAR, FN2000, FAMAS... bad people wouldn't have this). Oh, and hicaps too.

Am I the only one thinking that OP is planning an attack and is estimating his chances of success? Or a journalist writing a piece on airsoft to make people afraid "oh look, airsoft is so realistic it's baaaaaad". Seriously that question is kind suspicious. Like really. So OP, just don't do it. Don't.

To know: getting robbed with an airsoft only puts the robber at risk: if the police arrives, he'll get shot. But the others he's threathening, well.. if they get shot by the robber, at worst they'll have a little bleeder. So I'd much rather be robbed with an airsoft gun that a real one.

Well it depends on the rules for the game, if there is mercy rule I'll just take the mercy as I wouldn't want to get shot up close, but if I think I can get the shot off I'll just bring my gun up and try to shoot first.

Ask him what brand it is?
Really though don't take the chance just hand over your wallet. If you were carrying enough money that it worth your life you had it coming.

If you do decide to pull out your own gun, it's still pretty risky.

great attitude, no-one has it coming.. there is no reason that another person is justified in taking anothers property, EVER, it's sheeple thinking like this that degrades social order as a whole.

if someone wants to mug someone i can only hope that it's a bigger shark then they are and end up with a permanent, disfiguring and painful disability after..

i can imagine a few places in N.I. that these people could be dropped off for an hour and collected, sans-knee caps.. if i had my way the ambulance would also drag them to the hospital.

i've had a few friends mugged and know it's not nice and no-one should 'have it coming'

Quite frankly, if some fucker tried to mug me and I saw an inner barrel, I'd stab him in the fucking face and be happy knowing I wouldn't do a second of time.

Say "Take your best shot" and if your alive after he/she shoots, then it's a fake, if not, well then... you know it's real...

does the bad guy go "chika chika chika chika chika" when he runs? than its prob fake.

Or ask him to cock it just once for you because you love that sound and try and take a quick peak in the ejection port.

You try these first and if you live I'll go first next time.

HaHaHa!! Mag tickler.

I find when people argue against airsoft (mostly the CBC) they mention how people may get mugged with one. Isn't that preferable to being mugged with a real gun? Even if you don't know the difference?

I bet the OP wants to know if it's a good idea for him and his homies to take KJW GBB Pistols to rob the convenience store.
