They're super thin and lite and meant to go over your uniform.

Not sure what camo that is but those fighters are certainly not Germans, they appear Chechen.

Oh snap It Al Quieda!!
I think you are correct in that the camo splotch is similar to the German design. Its not a stretch to think its Russian. The material is Nylon like the CF stuff but looks thinner. The German stuff I've had and can get is a Poncho style with pants that is made of a cotton material. The set sells for $30.00 if I remeber. But I still prefer the CF add you own splotches LOL

the canadian stuff get's dirty so fast you get your own splotches anyway. I'm with Issue on the canadian to the german for material. Nothing sticks to the canadian while the german can abosorb a bit, the pattern on the german works better here in Northern BC but just rub up agianst a tree and make your own pattern.

it is Russian

Called "blot"

I got a set from Russian Combat Gear last year (after waiting 5 months)

It is very well made and quite robust.

I think that the German stuff is much like it.. but I think the "blots" are green

If you decide to do your own "blots" remember to too little is better than too much!

Those are 100% pure Chechen/Jihadi vermin, I pretty sure I know the video, afaik it is a grenade attack on a Russian base. So I would imagine it is Russian snow camo.

I'd have to agree with hortons lol, it's kinda hard to find good white canadian camo because it's been recycled so much it just get's trashed, the only white things you get new is the toque.
