Turnigy nano-tech "A-SPEC"

Hobby King has a new line of LiPos out. They claim they're using carbon-nanotubes.

Anyone tried these badboys yet? Are they actually using CNT tech?

I think my favourite one is the 3.7V 6000mAh 65-130C pack. 390 - 780 Amps at 3.7V, I wonder if anyone has tried running an airsoft gearbox on a single cell...

I can almost hear the sound of triggers vaporizing themselves now.

Why? Ever had any airsoft gun pull more than 30A? (and I am exagerating).

Theses work really great in RC cars/boats... but are made for 1500W+ power systems...

Hmm....

One of these days I need to do a proof of concept build.... I already have some crazy ideas of having a BLDC motor and ESC. I wonder if you can run an AEG on a 1S 3.7V lipo (with appropriate ESC). Then see if it can pull an M120 with super low ratio speed gears.

MORE POWER!!!!!!!!!!!
Just recieved the 2200 11.1 65-130, tried it out on a couple of guns.

Lets just say for those who thought my rate of fire was fast before and the gun had a distinctive sound, it just got a whole lot better.

Wow, this thing is way out performing my 12.8V (13.2v) madbull lifepo(20-40c) at only 11.1v. The extra amps make a all the difference (no shit) to getting the most out of my short Lonex and guarder ITU motors.

Trigger response, instantaneous and I am not currently using a mosfet (I know I know).

The rate of fire is crazy and most of my gears sets are only 18.1 or higher.
If you did 13.1 gears you would have a minigun on your hands.

You will burn out the trigger eventually better know how to fix it unless you go mosfet. I will see how long I can go before the trigger contacts burn out and report back. I have been running the 12.8v madbulls for well over 3 years( I think) and the trigger contacts never burnt out during that time frame. We will see if this expedites things.
