G&P Mk 18 Upgrades

I recently purchased a G&P Mk 18
http://torontoairsoft.com/product.php?id_product=1786

I dont truely have any gun doc knowledge with AEG's and I'm trying to learn, that said I would like to ask for any help with upgrade ideas, suggestions, info to get this AEG performing/running Very smoothly. The manufacturer states it comes with an 8mm gearbox and a G&P M120 Hi Speed motor. It has been a long while since I've upgraded an AEG and Ive never really had too much done too one so I could use some help and advice? I do want this Gun coming in just under the 400fps mark 390 would be nice.

So far I've gone as far as ordering,
- 2 x 11.1V 2000 mAh Turnegy Nano-tech batteries(w/volt reader)
-ModifyAir seal nozzle W/O-ring
-Falcon double point hop up Rubber(50%)
-Assorted size precision shims
-Also a shimm job by a gun doc

Next Im thinking,
-Madbull V2 Black Python 6.03 300mm(I have a silencer for any excess)
-Deep fire FTK(M120 Enlarged set)

I was hopeing for some help/advice on reliable or good upgrades for the M4??( I have read many posts regaurding lipo gear box's and improvements required to run lipo's but would love some advice from others and opinions!!!

Also I could not find much info on the stock contents of the gearbox?? I read many reviews on it and some were good some were very bad! I was curious if I should expect a decent gearbox or failing internals from running lipo's? If so what would be good internal upgrades to get this baby running smoothlyon these batteries??

Any help, advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

Cheers

Have you seen this thread?:

The G&P box is very similar to the KA box.
* New gearset when yours blows up (which it will eventually)
* re-shim
* sorbo
* check compression and replace piston o-ring and/or piston
* o-ring nozzle
* shave 2nd tooth off piston
* MOSFET to handle the 11.1v lipo

Honestly, if you're employing a "gundoc" and he/she is even half-competent, they should already know what to do.

Thanks for the input its greatly appreciated!!
My goal is to purchase the required upgrades and once I have them all, then bring them too a gun doc for instalation. With regaurds to gears would the Lonex 16:1 be good for a high ROF set up paired with the lipo? Would the SHS 14 Tooth w/full metal rack and a POM pison head paired with a sorbo help compression and work well in this type of set up?? Are their any MOSFETs you would suggest or reccomend??
Sorry for all the questions but Ive been researching and reasearching and have come to the conclusion that theres a different opinion for a decent AEG set up w/up grades at about every sight I go to..... So I greatly appreciate all of the knowledge and help I can get here!!!

@ sNAp
I havent gotten out too a range or chrony yet as I'm currently waiting on my mags and batterys too shoot it. If you PM Karnage I think he might be able to tell you???

I actually like Modify and Guarder parts a lot. Great price/performance.

With Guarder they have a cylinder enhancement set which comes with everything for your compression unit. Piston, piston head, cylinder, cylinder head, and air nozzle.

Otherwise I'd go with SHS Gears/Piston and Prommy everything else.

The Madbull V2 is the barrel without that coating that scratches off right? It's good but I like the Prommy and PDI barrels a lot more but keep in mind you're gonna have to pay for that kind of quality.

Here and Here Note that they're both out of stock ATM so you might have to go shorter or longer (and cover it up with a longer suppressor).

Otherwise Madbull and Guarder are good as far as price/performance goes.
