User or installer error?

I have 2 installed for nearly a year with no issues. M4 and MP5 installs have been serving me well. One was the original with decent wire shielding the other was with the shielding that cracked. Both have not failed me yet.

I do wish I had another V2 though. Still patiently waiting for the V3...

well im glad they came out with the v2 cuz the v1 was specifically desgined more for the m16 instead of the m4, modifications were required to fit my ver 1 in the stock tube of my m4, aka. i needed to make the wiring super short so i could fit a lipo in the stock tube as well, but now the ver2 is smaller it should be all good

The ones I know of personally were all installed by vetted gun docs, and used by those gundocs.

I decided I wanted one just as all the V1s went out of stock though, so I am glad the V2 came out so quickly.

I've always had crane stocks on my M4s, with nunchuck 9.6V batteries and it allowed me to have a free float RIS and no PEQbox on it, so no wires or batteries visible.

I did silly things and smoked mine..."it got hot" was an understatement.

I'm not a fan of the RedGreen duct tape your selector plate thing.

You need help with the next install?

I don't duct tape the selector, I put the tape on the receiver. I also remove more material than recommended in the instructions plus bevel the edges so that there's zero possibility of shorting it if the selector switch is forced past full auto.

If and when I get my hands on another build, hint (cough cheap modify torus mechbox shell cough) hint, I'll do a full write up with pictures.
