I hear you on all those points. But, knowing how Guarder's been with their quick engineering "solutions" in the past, I wouldn't be surprised if this never gets fixed.

I also just noticed that their photo of the front screw post is of the old version (lack of faux bar pins on the side). What are the chances I'll get these in my hands, and the post is actually re-engineered? LOL

I have to find a better one for it and somehown elongate the post a bit longer. I takes a lot of work dremminling out the front chaisis and the stock safety to fit the flange too. In fact, doing this mod will almost mainly put that safety out of commission. We had to switch out to the other Guarder safety just to make the frame more accommodating. So much work for such a measely little part...

I doubt Guarder would make a drastic changes to that screw casing. Most people bought in to the whole brass casing thing already. They have to re- design it completely in my opinion or use better material. THeir frames in general are lousy in dimensions as well. At least when compared to the stock one... A Guarder slide with the Guarder frame never cycles right unless certain modifications are made. I mean...That says alot about their products...
Let us know if you make any progress on that!

Most of their slides make the BBU sit so low that the hammer gets caught on the BBU slide so you can't even cycle it. So then you end up taking the entire gun apart to fix it. Bleh.

Unfortunately Brian, it is their 2013 frame. If you look closer, that is the faux bar pin as it is sitting up that high. The trigger pin isn't visible from that view. You should totally talk to Guns Modify for their new frames!

I've talked to Guns Modify in the past, but I just can't meet their minimums - particularly for such a relatively small product line.

Thanks for the heads up on the frames illusion.
So as promised more pics,
now added guns modify slide lock and trigger,
to create a cool two tone look

Just got confirmation from Guarder that the only real change to the new 2013 version frame, is that fake pin. :P That's the "new structure". LOL.

But dont they also have different markings? I think they have the European Glock trades on there instead...

They have two versions... EU and US.

I have both coming in. Wasn't sure which one people were interested in...

Just got the frames... looking at them, the only real difference is that fake pin. I can't see any other immediate differences between the two, besides a very slight variance in shade (this is expected, and only really visible under very specific lighting conditions.)

Otherwise, texture, weight and feel are all the same.

I did my own "New structure" on a HK3 Gen 4 frame
Fake pin added with small finishing nails, cut off most of the shaft, sanded the heads then cold blued them & superglued into some recesses/holes that I drilled out. (Camera battery needs charging, this is the only photo at the moment.)

Slighly zoomed in.

Got rid of my MP7 and got a WE G17. I'll take a proper picture when I get my camera unpacked.

Hopefully planning to throw in an SAI trigger and slide, and stipple the shit out of the frame.

PGC G17 & Detonator G19 silver slides. PGC has more of a satin finish compared to the Detonator matt finish.

Another experiment with DuraCoat, this time the color is Parker, the subject is a PGC slide that was sanded with 600 grit as opposed to being sand blasted.
