There should be no need to add threading, as threading should exist under the existing flash hider. Simply removing the flash hider is all you need to do if you wish to thread on a new suppressor. As long as the threading of your barrel matches that of the threading of your suppressor you will be fine.

Be warned as some brands actually use glue or some form of adhesive to secure the flash hider onto the barrel threading, while some brands like Tokyo Marui use a small grub screw to secure the flash hider. Use an Allen/hex key of the appropriate size to remove the grub screw and then you should be good to dethread the existing flash hider.

Well just don't try and "softly" pry it off... I tried on one of my crappy guns and it broke the whole outer barrel... I just made a homemade suppressor for my other gun that instead of screwing on, just slides on and off because it is tight. It doesn't fall off at least.

on the bottom of the flashider there should be a small set screw. generaly a 1.5mm allen key. loosten that screw. there may be some glue or loc-tite on the treads as well. use a pair of vice grips to hold the outer barrel (wrap a rag around the barrel first) then use a wrench on the flats of the flash hider to loosen it off. you will likely have to turn it ccw to remove it. have fun.

There should be some form of threading, unless its an extremely low quality item.

I could be wrong but I own a weapon like that and the reason why I could not find a set screw is because the whole thing is one piece (plastic) if you try to remove it you will likely crack the entire front end...just my 2 cents worth..EDWARD out...

Try to source a silencer that slips on the flash hider, but without being AV'd you may be SOL.
