Vfc m40a3

I was wondering if anyone has had a chance to use on of the vfc m40's, and what your opinions on them are? I was looking at the vsr 10 for quality and parts. But i always loved the m40 look, and when i found the vfc one i think it is compatible with vsr parts which is just a bonus.

Id be very curious too. Looking at picking one up as soon as it's in stock. Little worried about the hopup unit being irreplaceable though. Thoughts/experience?

Compatible is very subjective, I know for a fact it will accept "some" vsr10 parts but it is not the exact same as the fit in a vsr10. Also there are propriety parts in the m40 that can't be upgraded or replaced.

Personally I own the m40 it shoots 420fps out og the box, the problem is there was a defect in the first few batches where the bolt assembly would shear of under 100 rounds as mine did. The good new is the replacment is free through vfc in co-op with your retailer.

It can be upgraded as mentioned in the video with the listed parts some minor sanding and some shims. Personally i would go with the Ca M24 platform, its my go to. With the proper ugrades and time it will be the most acurate bolt you will own.

Man, old CA 24 magazines were the worst. I miss my m24, but I certainly don't miss those crappy brittle magazines at all.
