Propane adapters.

Where could a guy buy a good metal propane adaptor that holds the silicone oil in it ?

Any suggestions ?

You don't want a metal propane adapter; more prone to damaging GBB/GBBR fill valves. Check out a good polymer one from Airsoft Innovations at any nearby airsoft retailer.

Metal for the body is fine.

Look for an adapter with a non-metal nozzle tip.

I've used that Madbull one for years now, no problem; as long as you know how to fill a mag properly its not an issue. My old (version 1) metal AI adapter lasted for years until a propane bottle fell off a table and landed adapter-first Then I went through 2 of the plastic ones in under 2 years, so I switched to MB.

Why AI switched to crappy plastic, or why they at least don't offer a "deluxe" oldschool metal one baffles me to this day.

OP asked for one with an oil reservoir. AI doesn't make one with an reservoir.

The metal adapters are fine. Even though I have a plastic AI one, that I take ti games, I also have their metal one and none of my fill valves have damage.

Now, the madbull one being stainless steel vs. the original brass AI one will be harder but still, if you use it right, it'll be fine.

Costs pennies to inject plastic. If you are willing to pay $25 for a plastic adapter instead of $25 for a metal one, it's your choice.

The plastic ones are more forgiving, with respect to damage to mags.. it's astounding the number of people who lack the manual dexterity to line up two things and press them together.

this it to say nothing of the fact that many of these self same guys will probably have little luck at lining much of anything up and pressing it together.

Airsoft Innovations' propane adaptor is much better than the others,

I've seen instances where madbuls and other adaptors don't fit inside.

also, like brian said, they are more forgiving with the magazine.

Went and bought the mad bull propane adapter
It was either that or the one from sapien arms !!
How in the hell can the can you possibly mess up the full nozzle unless your blind and can't hit the hole or you push way to damn hard when filling the mag is the only two things I can see wrecking the mags fill nozzle !!

Propane adapters.

The only airsoft innovations option to getting a metal adapter with a reservoir is getting the plastic propane adapter and the gas can . But, that would involve prepping the gas can with oil and keeping filled with gas, giving a quick half second fill then using a non oiled propane tank w/plastic adapter to fill the rest of the mag. I do this for my WE PDW but it can be tedious and you can easily over oil a mag

People are impatient, don't look/pay attention or simply can't stick it in a hole without wandering.

You'll be fine with the madbull, just keep it straight

Some people can't find the hole if their lives depend on it
