US Special Force in Action During Heavy Close Quarters Combat

For all of the "Operators" who look down on Airsoft, this is an interesting video featuring US Special Forces training using, guess what.

If you can't recognize the sound of a GBBR, check out the BBs all over the place and even laying on the "dead terrorist's" chest at 2:49 of the video.

I'm don't think they are using airsoft. The translucent magazines on their weapons looks like the kind used in combo with simunitions... you can also notice pink paint on the mask of one of the OP-FOR guys. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.... Badass video though, nice to see fellow Chileans fucking shit up haha.

Definately Blanks for Opfor and Simunitions for Blufor.

I think there is a combination of things. The bad guys are using blanks and there are definitely BBs on the ground and flying around when they take down the last terrorist. I'm assuming the weapon with the blue barrel is for simunition.

I have no doubt there maybe airsoft there, but the gear the OpFor are wearing is for Simunition rounds, they would never armor up so high with airsoft.

I agree that there are simunitions being used. My point was more to the fact that Airsoft is being used at all. For all of the real steel folks that look down on Airsoft, it is a bit of validation.

Keep in mind the BBs may be on the ground because there was an airsoft event there prior not because any military was using it for training.

Today, on Thanksgiving, I am grateful to those who's glass is void of liquid and not nearly half full.

Thanks to you, who share in the aridness of your vessels and may optimism and positive thinking never lighten your door.

Fear not, I shant share another video such as this and will instead live in my dream world where Airsoft is indeed practiced by more than just us children playing with toy guns.

Airsoft is used for military/ law enforcement training there is no question about that, just not sure if it is used in the specific video you posted.

Use of Airsoft as a training tool by the miltiary example: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/m...tackle-pirates
