glad they made it safe!

As an note also, my website only shows in stock items, as our stock changes weekly, its easier to see things until our web guy rebuilds things

There's nothing special about the gold match, as the gold parts are still dipped in gold paint to give it that effect. It's just like the stainless version, over time the gold will flake off. Sadly. Rather better getting a base 5.1 marui and upgrading the parts.

Its time for me to pick up one to replace my 4.3 version that's been running for 7 years. May take it apart and see.

It certainly is, but at least the slide isn't painted! it will tide me over until I'm ready for a 4.3 project.

It's the same price, so what's the difference? And it has added features like a lighter slide, fiber front sight, and extended slide release.

Most definitely not the same price in Japan or Hong Kong that's for sure.
Those wanting a "ready to go" out of the box gun, then the Gold Match would be a good gun to go with. For those trying to build something else out of it, good luck.

Racing or universal?

Most or the soft pistol holster will be okay, depends on the length of the holster will be full covered the barrel or not.

Racing speed holster, you can get ghost or whatever, that would be a bit more to pay.
