best rubber bucking for sustained fire

i have an RPK and want to replace the hop up bucking. Currently running a Madbull BLUE but it's gotten rather soft over the last season from a sustained rate of fire.

What's a good solid bucking that will hold up to long sustained fire in around the 350FPS range..

I've tried the Prommy RED (harder rubber) before but was getting mis-feeds and jams..

more durable than a bucking, bigger contact area, better effective range and accuracy. bucking is used for air seal purposes only and becomes almost infinitely longer service interval, and you can use whatever hardness that is optimal for your gearbox power/feeds properly.

there's a nice country-wide network of ASM educated installers available.

No doubt about an Rhop but I feel that's overkill for a support weapon. I'm not looking for dead on accuracy when I'm throwing 2000 rounds towards ya.

I was looking for something quick and simple ... A rubber that holds up a little longer in regards to wear and tear.

What about the Prommy Blue Straight bucking with bridge tensioner?

^exactly that.
even the modify baton rubber with the bridge (save a bit of money cause you can get both from airsoft parts.)
I use both the promy purple bucking and bridge and the modify smooth with the bridge. Great improvement, the rubber last pretty good but they are cheap to replace as well and really if your handy you can shave the centering ridge off and rotate it when it's worn.

both items on that page and the modify comes in hard and soft (soft likely for your setup) the modify works okay on its own but the flat tensioner doesn't fill the whole hop window on some guns. The promy tensioners fill the window on a v2 and v3 hop up and has a chart for trimming to fit other hop ups.

R Hop is not overkill. It just gets expensive. R Hops generally shoot like shit until you start using heavier BBs like .28 and .3. Spitting out .3s all day gets expensive, fast.

Yes i should add. R hop is Beter (i wouldn't say by a whole bunch in a equally well tuned gun with a flat or bridge hop)
But again as pesto said, in a support gun, you'll likely run .20 or .25 , especially based on a 350fps build. It wouldn't be overkill really but it isn't all that practical and won't really show any benefits over a flat or bridge hop u till you start throwing heavy bb's (and potentially a heavier spring) at it. Then at that point you may as well semi lock it throw in a full cylinder, run .36's and call it a dmr. For the 350fps support gun role some .25's a soft rubber in either bridge or flat will give you a good range increase and decent consistency as far as airseal, feeding and groupings and an easy drop in installation (i belive one of the things you are also looking for)

I'm surprised no one has said anything about PDI W-Holds.

In Japan, guns are limited to 1 joule (around 350FPS) and the PDI W-Hold is one of the best drop-in buckings available for that power level.

Another obvious choice are the Prometheus Purple buckings. I know you tried the Red and it's a disaster, but the purple one is actually quite good.

I didn't consider the w hold due to the application. The twin nub design is great, but for sustained fire I would think it would wear out pretty quickly compared to a flat or r hop, less friction over a larger area should technically make the rubber wear less quickly than a traditional style with a hump, bump, w, v whatever gimmick. But yes the w rubber is sweet. I run it in my pistols with good results in most cases.

You know what's more terrifying than 200 BBs being randomly sprayed at you?
200 BBs being shot at you with the precision of a sniper rifle.
If you need spread, just shake the gun around a bit. I'd much rather have to simulate spread than lack the accuracy to single shot someone with my 249!

Imagine, you're on a building corner; in one example there's a volley of BBs hitting all over the side of the building and the odd one zipping right past you at the corner. In the other example, all of those BBs are zipping right past your corner covering top to bottom, if you so much as sneeze, a BB is going to hit any part of you that might get exposed at the corner.

R Hop is the best way to get a durable hop up applicator while avoiding the feeding and air seal issues usually associated with harder and more durable rubbers.
