Transformers / Crye loadouts

Thought these might be helpful for someone who wants to replicate this look, or was just interested in the look of the special ops soldiers from Transformers.

I scanned these from a Japanese magazine.

The PEQ on that launcher looks weird. And the colour of the launcher is just what the heck? lol

Anyways, thanks for the share.

But where are the Go-Bags?

It's kind of the whole Japanese fascination with military / firearms since most of that is illegal there. So the "impression" thing is really important / fun for them. Besides, it's a Japanese magazine article. Most magazines use their own staff as "models" in photos, etc..

I just think Asian US special forces look a little funny because they look so out of place. I am not doubting the skills of any Asian or anything like that, just think its weird to see them with such a hardcore serious face with the exact same gear as a white guy in an inset picture.

I'm half Japanese, just an FYI before people start screaming racism.

That's a Crye Precision (or clone thereof) Range Vest. The real ones aren't made anymore, and decent sizes (like Large or Med) sell on e-Bay for ridiculous amounts. There's one on there now for $400 U.S., and the last one went in a bidding war for over $600 U.S.

Luckily, I fit the x-Large, and they are about $200 U.S. They are no longer made, and the Ebaybanned ones are pure garbage. I bought 2 of those, and each one cost me $40+ getting the stitching repaired. If you want a good clone, get the Milspec one on Redwolf, but sizing is limited. I should have kept that one.

And they are awsome. They work as a stand-alone unit, you don't even need to add molle pouches to them.
