Pretty comfortable, and does the job in CQB. Probably not as comfortable as a REAL one, but also 1/4 of the cost

IMO for any replicas, I find they are basically the same. At the end of the day if it's protecting your head from welts in CQB, so any will do.

After two years with my Emerson FAST "Ballistic" hurting my head from being too small with mediocre padding I have taken the plunge in ordering an Ops-Core FAST Base Jump. Can't wait to get it, paint it, and set it all up.

The height of "modern" Russian gear collecting

A Altyn helmet from FSB Kasatka located in Murmansk





First issued durring the Soviet Union and made until some time in the 90s they are still in limited service with various FSB units.

The helmet is made of titanium and features integrated comms
