Not one of the old guard (in fact, I'm a complete greenhorn compared to you oldies :P), but yes we do, both the indoor and outdoor field. Outdoor season's been over a few weeks already, so indoor just started to ramp up, although honestly, Siege is lightyears better than FR indoors. FR outdoors is a great GTA outdoor field though.

I'm glad you guys are still around.

Still active but like previously mentionned, free time is premium shit with busy careers, kids, ect.

I don't play as often because it seems the good quality games are way behind us. I always scan for good games during the season and i'm always disappointed and end up not moving my ass for a game during the whole year.

I guess i'll die old school.

I have known Joe at Flag Raiders for 2 decades. I am sure that if we got 20-25 guys on a weekend during the winter he will let us play.
Back in the old days we didn't let a little thing like winter stop us from playing.
All we need to do is pick a date and see how many guys will sign up and then talk to Joe about opening the field.

Just curious, but was anyone here that played that full weekend game in Ottawa. I think it was in 2000 or '01.

Well hi there, still around after leaving for a while. Now I'm just ultra picky about the games I attend.

Same as everyone else really. Mind you I'm not as old school as MANY on here but got a job with the railroad so my time goes to work, family, and then I just try to see as many friends as I can.

But every time I go out I find there is less and less respect between players. Guys who open up on you after you flanked them and tried to do the right thing and mercy them to avoid nailing them from close range.

All in all things change, time gets less abundant, and life happens.

I'm not old. I am just well seasoned.

Hey Malinak,
you still have my french camo that you stole from me for a ridiculous price?

BTW anybody besides Primus remember Capital Thunder, the original in the Marlborough Forest?

I might win 1st place for the youngest oldtimer award!! 26 and going strong, as for the rest of the old boys I think we might need a defibrillator on the field if there was to be a oldtimers game. Maybe oldtimers vs noobies milsim..

So many names I remember are suddenly starting to appear. I remember my first 2 airsoft guns were from the pimp himself TRU TM mp5a4 and mk23 NBB

I do still have and wear the camo. Use the hat daily for a work hat. Beautiful camo.
