What kind of gear are the Delta Force using now? Surely they must've acquired entirely new equipment since their protec helmet and pt armour days. I see many current photos of the Navy Seals, but rarely any of the Delta Force. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I literally typed 'delta force' into google: I'm sure this will help.

YouTube- delta force training video

While old, that video is still relatively current.

Also, looking on militaryphotos.net will help...

Thank you, but I was hoping someone knowledgeable could help me identify specific equipment, such as helmets, body armor, vests etc. I am not particularly confident in my ability to pick these things out myself.

As recently as four years ago they were ID'd as (for the most part) being walking paraclete catalogs, but there have been huge advances in the tactical nylon industry since then. These days it's names like AWS, Mayflower, Blue Force Gear, Crye, Paraclete and likely some companies we'd never imagine or haven't even heard of yet. Tier one teams like CAG have tried just about everything I'm sure but do tend to stick to pretty similar stuff once they've figured out what works for them. (Vague I know- hopefully somebody can post some photos and we can discuss from there)

Thanks for the photos. How can one differentiate between Delta and other special forces operators though? I looked through a collection of SOF photos, and I have noticed that Deltas and Seals look VERY alike.

Check the SEALs thread pretty closely, you'll notice SEALs tend to use specific guns and equipment vs CAG.

CAG as far as I can tell is running Glocks and M4 MRE's or 416s. It's the little things that make it noticebly different than SEALs stuff.

Edit: Thanks for the pics Vince S, you always have great collections.

Uh, Protec helmet with a RAV? Get a MICH 2001 instead

Holster, Can't go wrong with Safariland

Vest, get a Paraclete HPC sans cumberbund (Flyye and Pantac make good repro)

Jumpsuit? Hell no. Good 'ol woodland BDU or DCU is where it's at

Now this is a very BASIC CAG loadout. If you want to go all out and look the part, expect your wallet to suffer

LOL. With all the rest of that stuff isn't my wallet already suffering? I have to buy this all - i don't have anything anymore, sold it when i moved overseas. T.T

Reason i was thinking one piece was because in the past with a two piece even with a tight belt, crawling around in the dirt i always got dirt and leaves, etc in my pants. And whole point of this post is to "look the part".

Would you still recommend a MICH with a PT body armor set up? What about IBH? Can you link me to your vests?

Switching to Multicam camo...by the way do you guys find that most people with MC use OD or Sand colored vests, kneepads, etc?

Thinking about going with a CIRAS and then adding some DFO touches:

MultiCam CIRAS Vest A-Type
MultiCam CIRAS Vest B-Type

PT armor is 90's
IBH is a SEAL thing
CIRAS is an SEAL/SF/Ranger/MFR thing but surely not CAG kosher
Never seen a CAG pic in MC yet

And yes your wallet could suffer even more if I'd tell you to get things like an ANVIS mount for the helmet with the LPBP

So looks like most of those vests in the picture are Paraclete RAV?

Hopefully i can find those pants in the front with pads on the knees
