Eotech + GBBR's

I was wondering what is the best clone that could hold up to the constant recoil of a GBBR? For staying zeroed and for staying tightly mounted? I know a hurricane is best for sight quality and ghosting but is it best for holding up to the recoil? Or should I just save up and look around for a real steal?

If you can afford a RS EOtech then get one. You won't be disappointed and it'll hold it's re-sale value quite well.

As for clones that are good against GBBR recoil, try Huang's line up of GBBR "friendly" sights. Not bad quality for clones, clear images and so far have held their zero on two of my GBBRs.

+1 on Huang's. I have a couple and so far they seem to hold zero, even with enhanced recoil upgrades.

But ask him specifically...for example, there is an Aimpoint Micro T1 that isn't "GBBR-proof" and one that is. I suppose the box might be a different colour, but they appear the same otherwise....and it's the internals that will go belly up (although you do really need to make sure the rail attachment screw/clamp/lever/etc... is not going to move at all).

Maybe its just the EOTech clones i've picked up from Huang but they are the biggest pos I've ever purchased. I can never manage to get them sighted in properly and they ghost terribly. Maybe its just me? D:

On the other hand, Ive got a clone aimpoint from Huang that I absolutely love. Holds zero on my WE M4 and I've never even had to adjust it switching rifle to rifle.

Thanks, Ian. Lucky I know you, lol. I'm doing research and figuring things out before I buy.

Oh btw, stay away from the ones with the QD mount. The one I have on my M4 is the Huang (airsoftdepot) Shockproof EOTech with the QD mount, and it kept coming off. I had to epoxy neodymium magnets to hold the QD levers so the optic wouldn't fly off.

On the 2 I owned, they were quite dim but visible in the day time.

I can almost guarantee you right now if you buy an EOTech clone today, youll be back here tomorrow complaining about the ghosting.

Honestly bro dont waste your money ;o

Yeah, I'm probably going to save my money and just buy a used Real Steel one. And I think if I get into Real Steel shooting I can use it then too Thanks Everyone for the help.

The shockproof Aimpoint T-1s have been the best replica optics I've tried so far. They're able to handle the recoil of a .223 with no problem at all. Completely dissatisfied with most EOTech clones (haven't tried the hurricane, but most of them ghost).

Got mine here: http://dx.com/designer-s-t-1-aluminu...x-cr1632-72369
